#1: Introduction to Atomic Blogs

I've been taking notes for a long time. In the last few years, I've adapted a version of the Zettelkasten Method to help sharpen my reading, thinking, and writing.

I'm now going to share some of these notes: one at a time. I'm not going to keep to a regular schedule; I'll do it when I feel like it. For more regular writing, see my Substack newsletter.

I haven't mentioned the coolest part, though:

Each note will be linked to the last.

Why?

I'm of the belief that if you want to get cleverer, you've got to mess about. You've got to play with things, connect them, rabbit-hole. By making a connection with each new post, I'm hoping to have new insights.

A caveat

This does mean that I'm going to reference things in posts that I haven't expanded on or explained, or justified. I might do in future posts. That's the power of the link.

Let's see how this works out.
